Resolve to be Involved

new-yearAnother year is coming to a close and it’s time to look ahead to what’s to come. The beginning of a new year always comes with a sense of new energy and excitement (at least for me). So why not make 2014 the year you get involved with your community?

LS360 is always ready to welcome new volunteers and their talents… that’s what makes our group so great!

So take a few minutes to explore the different KPAs, and discover which one(s) you’d like to lend your time and talents to. Once you’ve done that, click the “Volunteer” button and let us know!

2013 has been a great year for Lee’s Summit and LS360, and we are looking forward to an even better 2014!

Council Update

Thanks to everyone that presented and attended the City Council meeting last night! It is so energizing to hear updates from the KPAs and the great things that are being accomplished.

If you were unable to attend, I would recommend watching the presentation here.

Again, thanks to all the citizens that volunteer so much of their time for the betterment of our City!

Tonight is the Night…

Don’t forget that tonight at 5:30 p.m. the Implementation Committee is providing an update to City Council. Come join us and show your support in the Council Chambers (220 SE Green Street).

Can’t make it? You can tune into LSTV  or  watch the presentation live on your computer.

Wish us luck!

Welcome to the new

ponyboardOver the past several months, the LS360 Marketing Committee has been working hard to create a new website. We hope you find our new page easy to navigate and full of great up-to-date information.

The goal of our new site is actually quite simple…

  • Inform current LS360 volunteers of progress that is being made, and share success stories.
  • Engage citizens and provide them with  information about LS360, and how they too can get involved.

Tonight, the Implementation Committee will meet to prepare for the next City Council update at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14, in City Council Chambers, 220 S.E. Green St. We strongly encourage all current LS360 volunteers and those interested in getting involved to attend that meeting. The presentation is an excellent way to hear brief updates on the progress being made.

In closing, make sure to check our new website often as our KPA’s provide updates and photos through this blog.

Oh, one more thing — after surfing around the site if you have any ideas or suggestions feel free to contact us by emailing

Yours Truly,
LS360 Marketing Committee
